Flyers Blitz Devils With 3 Goals in 26 Seconds, Roll to 6–3 Win

Flyers 6, Devils 3 — Fury On the Ice

1st Period — Flyers Detonate for Three Goals in 26 Seconds

Philadelphia- The Flyers were coming into the contest ranked third in the league on defense. It was time for the offense to catch up. New Jersey opened the scoring at 7:37 when Timo Meier buried a rebound on the power play, but the Flyers responded with one of the most explosive stretches in franchise history. Noah Cates tied the game on a rebound, setting the stage for a record-breaking surge. At 12:06, Matvei Michkov scored on a breakaway to give Philadelphia the lead. Just nine seconds later, Tyson Foerster blasted home a one-timer, and then added another 17 seconds after that when his quick shot deflected off Devils goaltender, Jake Allen. The lightning-fast trio — three goals in just 26 seconds — stunned New Jersey and sent the Flyers into the intermission up 4–1. Allen was visibly frustrated by the end of the barrage.

2nd Period — Flyers Maintain Control
Philadelphia continued to dictate the pace in the middle frame. Bobby Brink extended the lead to 5–1 with a high, curling wrist shot early in the period. New Jersey pushed back with a strong shift late in the frame as Nico Hischier ripped home a one-timer at 16:16, but Dan Vladar held steady in net to keep the Flyers comfortably ahead heading into the third.

3rd Period — Zegras Puts it Away
The Devils tried to generate momentum early in the third, and Hischier added his second of the night to bring the score to 5–3. But the Flyers responded with strong defensive structure and timely saves from Vladar. Trevor Zegras sealed the win with a breakaway goal, restoring a three-goal cushion and closing the door on any New Jersey comeback attempt. The Flyers wrapped up the night with a convincing 6–3 victory built on their dominant first-period performance. Vladar ended the night with 32 saves and a .914 save percentage.
